Randy Altschuler: Councilman Dan Panico and the Brookhaven Town Board did the right thing on June 15th, by placing a tax cap proposal on the November ballot. If passed by the voters, this legislation will send a clear message; we must not spend more than we take in! The tax cap is a perfect example of the common sense conservative approach to government that I've been talking about on the campaign trail in my effort to oust liberal incumbent Tim Bishop.
